大众汽车集团前董事长卡尔·哈恩博士去世，享年96岁。
哈恩博士在1982年到1992年担任大众汽车集团董事长期间，积极推动大众汽车进入中国，全力促成了上汽大众的成立，是外资车企里开拓中国市场的先锋。
在合作过程中，他始终关心和支持上汽大众的发展。期间他多次访华，积极推动中德汽车产业合作与文化交流，与中国合作伙伴结下了深厚友谊。
感谢哈恩博士为上汽大众成立和发展所做的付出，致敬哈恩博士为汽车工业做出的贡献，我们对他的逝世深表哀悼。
Dr. Carl H. Hahn, former Chairman of the Board of Management of Volkswagen AG, passed away at the age of 96.
When Dr. Hahn served as Chairman of the Board of Management of Volkswagen AG from 1982 to 1992, he actively promoted Volkswagen to enter China and vigorously facilitated the establishment of SAIC VOLKSWAGEN. His endeavor made Volkswagen a pioneer among all the international automobile companies in exploring the Chinese market.
In the process of cooperation, Dr. Hahn always paid personal attention to the development of SAIC VOLKSWAGEN and provided great support. As a strong advocate for Sino-German cooperation in automobile industry and cultural exchanges between the two countries, he visited China many times and nurtured deep friendship with the Chinese partners.
We appreciate and respect Dr. Hahn for all his contributions to the establishment and development of SAIC VOLKSWAGEN as well as to the automobile industry. We hereby express our sincere condolences over his passing.
